I’m depressed.

Last week I went over to Auckland to meet a few of the Bros to drive some serious metal from Taumaruni to Wanganui. This 160 km stretch of tarmac has some of the best corners on any road anywhere, great scenery and not many police. Not that this last point mattered to us since our objective was to stay as close to the speed limit as possible. We failed.

Now you need to know that all New Zealanders hate Aucklanders. They call them JAFAS. Just Another Aucklander. (Word missing, use your imagination.) Anyway my best Bro Paul was to pick me up from the airport. The last time we did a road trip he was driving a perfectly respectable but really pretty ordinary 1995 Skyline GT-R. I had been lent a F430 Spider.
