BMW is recalling cars worldwide for defects that can quite literally torch your Beemer — even under your carport. In September 2025, a recall covering 196,355 BMWs and 1469 Toyota Supras. Days later, another 145,102 vehicles. The problem affects BMW's most popular metal — Z4, 3 Series, 5 Series, X3, X4, X5, X7 and 7 Series.
